An aging garden fairy sculpture was restored and completely reimagined for a Florida poolside retreat. Damaged areas were carefully rebuilt and resculpted before the piece was refinished in layered iridescent tones of deep blue, emerald, and violet.
The butterfly wings were treated with a luminous shifting finish that changed subtly with the surrounding light, bringing flow, color and new life back into the sculpture's delicate form.

Created for clients who had long loved the piece, the finished fairy became an immediate emotional centerpiece for their outdoor living space ~ so much so that they drove to my studio the same evening it was completed rather than wait until the next day to have it delivered.
